Originally qualified as an OT in 1989, Maria suffered a life changing injury in the workplace and subsequently chose to retrain in Ergonomics, Vocational Rehabilitation, Wellness and Ecotherapy.
She has worked in Ergonomics, Vocational Rehabilitation and Wellness now for over thirty years, successfully helping thousands of people in a similar situation to herself, overcome ill health, trauma and adversity. Maria uses her physical and mental health condition management skills plus her Ecotherapy techniques in all aspects of her practice, where appropriate. This ensures she approaches each case from a holistic perspective. She is a passionate “people” person who aims to help everyone to be the best they can be.

Dave has been an Occupational Therapist for 30 years, and after working in various clinical settings in the NHS, went on to specialise in Vocational Rehabilitation and Job Retention. He was the lead clinician for the first Primary Care mental health job retention service in England, which came to be known as the Avon Pilot, and which paved the way for Employment Support workers in IAPT Services. Dave was a co-author of the MIND funded Job Retention Practitioner’s Handbook (2011) and has continued to deliver national training in job retention case management to Employment Advisors in the NHS and Third Sector, having trained over 1000 practitioners and counting!

Jane is an active and busy mother to two teenagers and a dog. She enjoys yoga and skiing, but most of all travelling around the country in her beloved CamperVan! After many years working for the NHS and Social Services, Jane took the leap to becoming an Independent Occupational Therapist last year and has not looked back since. Her passion for everyone being able to achieve their potential shines through all that she does. Jane joined Enable Works as an Associate in January 2023 to help us to deliver our Occupational Health Service to Businesses and Vocational Rehabilitation Services to Case Managers.
